Undergraduate Research Conference at the Interface of Biology and Mathematics

This annual conference will provide an opportunity for undergraduates to present their research at the interface of biology and mathematics. Student talks and posters will be featured as well as a plenary speaker and a featured speaker.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park
A panel discussion on career opportunities will be featured on Saturday morning. Faculty, students and Tennessee teachers (grades 6-12) will be invited to attend.
The conference will start at 1 pm Friday and end at 5 pm Saturday. A meeting for PIs of the National Science Foundation's program on Interdisciplinary Training for Undergraduates in Biological and Mathematical Sciences will be held during our conference.
Registration deadline: September 29 to attend or September 15 to request support.
Due to capacity limitations, registrations on September 29, 2009 may
not be accepted.
Funding for lodging and travel will be available for a limited number of participants.
