Policy on Requests for Support for Scientific Gatherings
NIMBioS generally only provides support for scientific gatherings (e.g. meetings, conferences and workshops) at its location in Knoxville. Additionally, NIMBioS collaborates as appropriate with other NSF-funded Centers to support activities that are synergistic between the Centers, independent of location. NIMBioS occasionally provides support for activities in conjunction with major professional societies directly connected to its mission, including sponsoring activities at meetings of these societies.
