New NIMBioS Branding

Throughout the Spring of 2023, the NIMBioS Leadership Team and Communications Manager collaborated with students from Kimberly Mitchell's class at the UTK School of Design. Under the guidance of Professor Mitchell, these students, who have now become successful alumni, played a pivotal role in the redesign of the NIMBioS visual branding and the successful launch of an institute rebrand. Their ideas and creativity significantly influenced the institute's online footprint, highlighting the UTK School of Design's academic community.

NIMBioS started as an NSF Synthesis Center but now operates as an independent institute. We are interested in creating new science with our models, and we currently focus on serving as a collaborative and intellectual hub for transdisciplinary research and education in the quantitative life sciences.
